Intumescent Letter Plates – 30 minutes fire rated
Fire-rated letter plates are fitted with an intumescent liner and are suitable
for installing into fire rated doors without compromising the door's integrity.
- Quick-fit installation
- Adjustable telescopic sleeve set
- Suitable for door thickness's of 40-80mm
- 30 minutes fire protection (FD30)
- The intumescent material swells to seal the letter opening in the event of a fire
- Available in 4 different finishes
- Available in 2 sizes: 10" and 12"
- External dimensions (HxW):
- 10" letter plate: 70x272mm
- 12" letter plate: 75x292mm
- Internal slot dimensions (HxW):
- 10" letter plate: 37x225mm
- 12" letter plate: 37x245mm
- Fully sealed letter plate flap
- Fitted with integral sound dampening bumpers
- Tested in accordance with BS 476-20/22
- Can be used in either horizontal or vertical orientation
- Ideal for fitting to doors in houses of multiple occupation
