Evacuation sheets are placed permanently underneath mattresses to allow the evacuation of frail patients in the case of fire without removing the patient off their mattress. In the case of an alarm the securing straps and buckles of the evacuation sheet are pulled out and fixed over the patient to keep him/her safe. With the help of the evacuation sheets, mattresses can be moved safely down any stairs without risk to the carers or the patient. Our evacuation sheets can be machine washed and re-used.
