Astroflame Fire Resistant Batt
Constructed from a mineral fibre core coated on both sides with Astroflame mastic, the Astroflame fire batt is specially designed to seal service penetrations in walls and floors. When the mastic is subjected to high temperatures it transforms into a hard ceramic that prevents the passage of fire, smoke and heat. A single sheet of fire batt fitted correctly can offer high levels of fire integrity and provide up to 4hrs of fire resistance.
- 240 minute fire rated
- Tested to BS 476 :Part 20 & EN 1366: Part 3
- Certifire approved
- Available in two versions:
- 600x1200x50mm 140Kgm²
- 600x1200x60mm 160Kgm²
- Halogen free
- Reduced smoke properties
- Chemical resistant
- Weather resistant
