Astroflame Fire Rated Luminaire Cover
Astroflame luminaire covers are designed to maintain the fire integrity of ceilings
that have had tiles removed and replaced by recessed lighting. When recessed
lights are fitted, the fire protection rating of a ceiling is greatly reduced
allowing smoke and fire to penetrate into the ceiling void in seconds. This
situation can be avoided by installing a fire rated luminaire cover.
- 60 minute fire rated
- Available in 2 versions
- Lightweight: 1.5 - 2.5kg
- Self supporting
- Supplied flat packed
- Tested to BS 476-23
- NHBC type approval
